Dedicated to enhancing the purity, beauty and natural flow of the North Fork...

Friends of the North Fork is a grassroots citizens' group that relies on people like you...

whether you live in the basin of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River or just care about it.

Welcome Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River.  Our mission is to enhance and protect the beauty, purity and natural flow of the incredible North Fork of the Shenandoah River and its watershed.  How do we do that?  WITH YOUR HELP!  Please read below and explore our website, learn about the North Fork, our river protection efforts, and how YOU can volunteer to help the North Fork and join all of us working to make the North Fork a healthier river.
